anyone that has a jitterbug…have u been satisfied with it? we are thinking about getting one for my grandpa for emergencies. and we arent sure if a trac fone or a jitter bug is the way to go.

it needs to be loud and simple. to quote him…..he doesnt need a fone that does everything but wipe your ass for you. just something simple.

MY PAPA’S WALTZ

The whiskey on your breath

I’ve heard that this poem is about a hard-working, alcoholic father who just gets home and decides to waltz around the house with his young son. However, I’ve also read that it’s about an abusive relationship is which the son is confused about what his father his doing to him and yet still loves him all the same.

What does a twist board do. I saw them on amazon and all over the internet but you just stand on the thing and twist? Sounds like it could work the waist but I don’t see how it trims hips and thighs. Can someone explain exactly what this is (other than manufacturer description) and what it does and how it works?

Doesn’t seem like it would be high impact or high cardio if you are just twisting.

On the radio every year, I always hear about how it is such a tradition to watch the Nutcracker ever year……..
Why is it a tradition? Isn’t it the same every year? Isn’t it kind of expensive to go to every year? Do you know anybody that really goes every year?
The nutcracker in my hometown (seattle) is pretty fancy, costs us about 50 bucks each for OKAY seats..not great, but good enough.

Everytime I hear this, I can’t help but laugh, even though my friend says it gives him the creeps.

I’ve always wondered what possessed The Stranglers to do it. Its funny, but really odd! One of my friends said the high pitched giggling on it is them pretending to bebe “giggling rats?” Eh?
