I want to buy a copy of Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker ballet for my sister. However, like most classical music, it can only be as good as the musicians that play it. To the people who know this music well, could you point me in the direction of some of the best sounding albums? Thanks!

I am 13. I wish to find out more about Ballet. I’ll be going for Adult Ballet Basic in the nearby Commuity Centre next year…. I’m not sure if I can take Ballet exam there… What’s the difference of me learning in the Children Grade 1 and Adult Basic? I don’t mind learning the Children Class. I just want to learn it well take Ballet Exam and become a Ballet teacher in the future. I know Ballet is a beautiful thing…. but some say I’m too old to learn it well. I’ll only learn the Basic only. Children will learn it well as they are still young but Adult will only learn some easy ones only. Some easy ones! They’re just learning for fun, not taking exam.That’s what I heard….

There is a medical term called Toursades de Points, which is a kind of heart arhythmia, but the name comes from a French? ballet term because the original doctor who saw the characteristic EKG tracing thought it looked like this ballet move. I can’t find out what the original ballet move was and would like to. Any help? Many thanks if so!
